About
us Davallia Technology is a privately owned software development
firm created in 1996 by its Principal, Tim Jansz. Since its inception, the sole
focus of the company has been to design, develop, market, and support innovative
software solutions to real world problems, particularly where alternative solutions
do not exist or are substandard. The
genesis of SmartRoster... SmartRoster
was designed and developed by the Managing Director, Tim Jansz, a software developer
and systems analyst of many years experience. Over a number of years Tim has had
responsibility for creating service rosters at his home church. After putting
together a few rosters manually he came to the inescapable conclusion that here
was a task that was supremely suited to a computer! Unable to find an appropriate
product on the Internet, he spoke to several other church schedulers and discovered
that they too were spending a lot of time and frustration on a regular basis putting
their service rosters together. As he listened to them and compiled their wish
lists, he also realised that many churches simply could not afford an expensive
solution. He set about developing a cost effective program that would release
many beleaguered church administrators to return to the central tasks of ministry
and mission. SmartRoster is the result of 5 years of dedicated and incremental
development, and is guaranteed to enhance any church's communication and service. Mission
